Michael S. Meyer von Bremen is a partner in the Albany office of Hall, Booth, Smith & Slover, P.C. He was born and raised in Albany and is a member of the Dougherty Circuit Bar Association where he served as President, the State Bar of Georgia, American Bar Association, Association of Trial Lawyers of America, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association, where he served as Regional Vice President and a Fellow in the Roscoe Pound Institute. Since 1999, he has served as a Georgia State Senator where he currently chairs the Senate Ethics Committee and is a member of the Appropriations, Judiciary, Natural Resources and Public Safety Committees. Michael has actively served as a mediator and arbitrator in cases throughout South Georgia. Active in the community, he has served as President of the Albany Sertoma Club, President of the Mercer University National Alumni Association and been a member of several boards, serving as President of some of those. He is a member of Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church where he sings in the choir. Growing up, he was active in the Boy Scouts and was an Eagle Scout.
